Always and Everywhere

The way in which we pray is revealed in our personality and in our way to define our oneness. We profess our faith by using symbols, scheduling time, and rites through which we realize liturgy.
The purpose of this podcast is to help us determine and explore some of the underlying ideas beneath these aspects of liturgy. Through both catholic religious and daily catholic prayers we are being revealed something that has always been in the back of our souls, and spirits that have been longing to receive catholic answers and now through these actions and words, something inexpressible is finally brought up to light. This inexpressible catholic answer is constituted by the idea of repentance and belief, meaning that the Reign of God is at hand for every catholic. What is important for every catholic is to keep in mind that these catholic answers aren’t revealed for a private redemption, but for all humanity. This is a reality that the Church through its insistence for non private liturgical catholic prayers is trying to make way to catholic believers’ soul and mind. A liturgical catholic prayer should be looked upon as a celebration of the Church and also a celebration of its importance in world. It represents the whole Body of Christ who is praying each and every time a catholic prays. This is especially true of Mass, all of the sacraments, all liturgical prayer. While personal and private prayer represent a necessary aspect of all authentic Christian life, the individual Christian participation within the public prayer of the community is even more important. The Church ‘s public prayer is powerful precisely in the reality that the people gathered for liturgy are not represented only by the ones present, but by the entire Christian community. In any liturgical prayer, the entire Mystical Body of Christ is present as well as the choir of angels. Liturgy is indeed a celebration of the Heavenly Jerusalem that casts its faith and religious meaning over the worldwide believers. The mystery of Christ is so unfathomably rich that it cannot be exhausted in a single catholic liturgical tradition. Even though the liturgical prayers around the world coexist in a single entity, is rather different in a contextual matter. In this way Christ reaches out to all people, while maintaining love and charity as a whole. We are neither alone nor isolated in the world, but united in love through liturgy, always and everywhere!
Liturgy is a primary place where we human beings meet our Creator, we experience through our catholic belief and prayers the love of God, and we are being given the Spirit of God’s love through which we shall live eternally. While liturgy is a foretaste of encounter with God –Holy Communion, we will only truly begin to understand the significance of the liturgy when we are participating in the heavenly liturgy –an experience that will bring us true joy and fulfilment.
