They say that admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. Well I have a problem with saying no to home business opportunities. The latest one has to do with how to make money online.

Apparently, when you're looking for a way to make some fast cash online there is no shortage of companies that want to help you find what you're looking for. There were getting paid to shop biz opps, giving free stuff away and survey taking campaigns, electronic chain letters, and a way to make money surfing the web looking at weblogs, landing pages, and web mail correspondences.

The make money online surfing guys said all I had to was review a few emails and look at a few websites-only taking a minute each to finish. This sounded easy enough because I surf online all the time already and now I could get paid for it.

Chances are I can do this for 12 hours a day and really make bank-never have to worry about getting a job again because I know the fine art of how to make money online surfing. I wonder why everyone doesn't do this-we'd probably be a much happier planet for it.

Picking the best get paid to surf organization was my next task and after stumbling upon this site with lots of colors and polished wordplay I decided to join up. And I was all too eager to cough a 30 dollar admin fee at their request too. I was one of their partners now so why not.

I felt that this fee was justifiable because I'd done in dozens of times before for various other home business opportunities. I figured that when they taught my how to make money online I would make that money back within the first hour of my online surfing. That's when the proverbial "pooh" hit the fan.

Turns out that these guys were just yanking my chain, oh I'd make money online alright but only to the tune of 2 to 3 pennies per email read and website visited. At that rate it would take me forever to make any real money. As a matter of fact, I might as well stay with my fast food job because at least that pays in dollars per hour.

They say that a sucker is born every minute-and it seems that I was born one minute died the next, only to be born every other subsequent minute only to be duped again. I'm out gas money for a month because I'm quick to act and not think-but I refuse to believe that there is no way to make some easy money online.

I'm sure I'll continue to search for the best way to make money online-perhaps figure out how to take advantage of an affiliate program-possibly shoot for some recurring commissions. From now on every offer I consider will have to:

Have multiple ways to maximize their opportunity financially

Offer value and back up their claims

Be realistically priced and highly regarded
