Web Video Solutions

By: Luis C. Aguirre

If you're like me and you have your own website, then you have probably wondered about adding some video content to your site. Be it to attract new customers, keep things fresh or to just share information on a much more appreciated 'visual' level. Either way, web videos are starting to create a buzz in the web page world.

The only thing that sucks about this whole video thing, is the fact that most programs that can do this sort of thing are either really expensive or confusing to the 'less than geeky' audience. Most programs have a interface only a scientist could read with all these buttons and knobs along with a hefty monthly fee if you don't choose your program or service wisely.

I came across this program last week while searching for a cost effective solution to this mess. V2F seems to integrate the 2 big features I was looking for all in one neat package...Cost & Video Size. Now with most video converters, the video sometimes comes out blurry with those gray fuzzies around the person or text and then the actual size of the video is enormous.

This program is awesome in every sense of the word, taking out everything you don't need to know about uploading a video to your site. All you do is load the video you want to use, convert it, and generate the HTML code and you are done! I mean, holy crap does it get any easier? I remember spending at least an hour or two with a similar program that cost me about 2x's what this did and it was in no way user friendly.

Now ive used this program to upload about 7 videos already and all were just as easy to do as the next. The quality is superb (what else do you expect from a Flash file) and the size of the video is small so the site doesnt slow down. Not to mention it looks way better and I feel confident in saying that the videos on my sites are what KEEP visitors there.

V2F has some great reviews and some good previews and demos of the program on the website. To be honest, I ran across this site by accident and its already turned out for the best. My sites look much better now with a narrated version of my content, that way people can just listen instead of reading...who does that nowadays right?
