  • Portable Solar Power Systems Let your Gadgets Roam!
Everything nowadays has a computer in it, even my car apparently has a computer that tells it… well something. Another thing most things seem to have are batteries. Batteries are horrible little things that provide power for phones, PDA’s, MP3 players and other devices that I can’t be bothered to mention! The actual electrical equipment is quite advanced the batteries however are another story! Batteries do not last forever. And as we all know “Energy cannot be created or destroyed”, so they must be recharged on a regular basis.
  • Installing Doors the No-Hassle Way
Installing a new door can make a big difference to the interior or the exterior of a home. If you think that painting your existing door will not improve the door enough for you, then a new door is a wise investment. Many people also replace their doors when they are drafty, badly insulated, or do not fit properly into the door frame. A high quality new door can lower the costs of heating or cooling your home because it probably has better insulation than your old door. Vintage doors are often made of cheap materials like plywood, while today’s doors are better made, although you may end up paying more dearly for them. For instance you can pay five hundred dollars for a new front door, but the door is usually reinforced with metal for safety reasons.
  • One Cheap and Simple Method of Home Repair
Many homeowners forget that they can expand their living spaces by remodeling their garages. Think about it – your garage is usually just sitting there, crowded with stuff if not your car. It is the perfect space for your new studio or pool house. You can turn your garage into the room of your dreams. Would it really be so bad to park your car in the driveway? If you live in a temperate climate, a car is not going to suffer much out of doors. Granted, if you live in Minnesota, you have a garage attached to your house for a reason. You can go straight to your car without having to step out into the cold. But if you live in a pleasant environment, try parking your car in the driveway and look at all the space you just opened up for yourself. You just added hundreds or even thousands more square feet to your living space.
